Lasercut Woodblock print on Xuan papers，Reflrctive Hi-res scanning

I exported the 4k video clips as sequence images, then cut every four frames into a woodblock and scan each frame in 8k resolution after print.

Forty-two woodblocks and nearly 600 sheets of Xuan paper were used in this project.

As Chinese students studying in the USA. I feel sad and powerless about the things that happened in the 2020, epidemic. anti-China propaganda.

Through the burning of the laser. the scream was embedded into woodblocks. Those temporary anger. emotion. it will be subsumed into a natural, peaceful zone.
